Extending its undefeated record in MAC play (6-0) and at Millett Hall (7-0), Miami Women’s Basketball seized a win against Eastern Michigan last Wednesday and snatched a thriller at Bowling Green last Saturday. Riding a seven-game win streak, Miami returns home to host Buffalo at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21 before heading to Ball State for a key match-up at 11 a.m. Saturday. For the first time since February 1999, Miami Men’s Basketball cracked the AP Top 25 Poll, coming in at No. 25! One of three remaining undefeated Division I men’s basketball teams in the country, Miami notched a win against Central Michigan last Tuesday and pulled out a thrilling overtime triumph against Buffalo last Saturday to move to 7-0 as the only remaining undefeated team in conference action. The RedHawks have won 26 straight at home and tied a MAC record for best start to a season with their 19-0 record. Miami hits the road for a 7 p.m. game at Kent State on Tuesday in its lone game of the week. The RedHawks return to Millett Hall for a nationally-televised game on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 9 p.m. against UMass. Miami Hockey
Miami Hockey swept its weekend series against Omaha to move up in the NCHC standings. The RedHawks recorded a 3-0 shutout in the Friday game and hammered out a 6-2 win behind a David Deputy hat trick, the first of his career. It was the first series sweep in conference play for the RedHawks in nearly four years. Miami returns to action at St. Cloud State Jan. 30-31 before returning to Steve “Coach” Cady Arena to host Western Michigan Feb. 6-7. There will be an autograph session with the RedHawks following the Feb. 7 game. Get your tickets today!

Miami Soccer had four named to the All-Ohio teams. Katie O’Malley and Kayla Perfect were named Second-Team All-Ohio, Sophia Penegor was named First-Team Academic All-Ohio and Dominique Popa was named Second-Team Academic All-Ohio.
Miami Swimming & Diving returns to Nixon Aquatic Center this Saturday for a 1 p.m. Senior Day meet against Xavier and Kenyon. The RedHawk women downed Eastern Michigan and the Miami men topped Ball State in a home meet last Friday.
Miami’s Collegiate Synchronized Skating team returns to the competitive ice at the Midwestern Championships in Plymouth, Mich. Last weekend, the RedHawk senior team placed fifth at the Hevelius Cup.
Miami Tennis heads to Illinois for a Saturday match before traveling to Kentucky for a Sunday match. The RedHawks dropped matches at Florida Gulf Coast and to St. John’s in Fort Myers, Fla. over the weekend.
Miami Track & Field had a strong start to the indoor track and field season at the Hoosier Horsepower Classic last weekend. Ella Garvin tied the second-best all-time indoor high jump in program history. The RedHawks return to action in Indianapolis in the Crossroads of America Invite January 23-24.
D1Softball.com listed Miami Softball’s Mckenna Campbell as its 74th-ranked mid-major player in the nation. She was one of three Mid-American Conference student-athletes on the list.
