A man claiming to be a mailman was arrested for stealing mail in Orlando.
Orlando Police Department officers recently responded to the Aria Beach Apartments on South Semoran Boulevard after receiving reports of a male breaking into a community mailbox.
When officers arrived on scene, they caught the suspect in the act of stealing mail and detained him without incident. According to OPD, the man had no truck or uniform.
The suspect was later identified as Sean Cronin. He was found in possession of burglary tools and a large amount of mail from multiple apartment complexes in the area, according to law enforcement.
Cronin was arrested and charged with Grand Theft, Loitering and Prowling, Possession of Burglary Tools and Possession of Personal Identification Information.
