Katie Garch is a meteorologist at Spectrum News 13 in Orlando.
Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Katie brings a deep passion for weather and storytelling to her work, helping viewers stay informed, safe, and prepared for whatever the forecast holds.
Before joining Spectrum News 13, Katie worked in Jackson, Mississippi, where she covered severe weather, including tornado outbreaks, winter storms, and other high-impact events. Her experience in a challenging weather market strengthened her ability to communicate critical information clearly and calmly during moments that matter most.
Katie is a graduate of Florida State University, where she earned a degree in Meteorology. A twin, she jokes that she’s been practicing teamwork since birth—an approach she carries into her work every day.
