ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — One man is dead and another is injured after a shooting Friday night in St. Petersburg, police say.

A St. Petersburg Police Department spokesperson says the shooting happened just before 7 p.m. near 22nd Lane South and 9th Avenue South. 

Details into what led up to the shooting are unknown at this time.
