ST. PETERSBURG — Eric Stallings, 23, was arrested on drug-trafficking charges after officers found him passed out in a Rolls-Royce with illegal drugs in view, police said.
At 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 14, police received a report of man who appeared to be passed out in a car with the door open at the Zura Apartments, 225 73rd Ave. N.
Police said Stallings tried to run away from the responding officers and knocked one down, causing an injury. Officers said they found guns, knives, drugs and bags of mushrooms in the car.
Stallings faces charges including resisting arrest with violence, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, armed trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in heroin.
