Child found dead in St. Pete home; police say death is 'suspicious'

St. Petersburg police say the child’s body was found in a home, along with a man with injuries.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating after a child was found dead in a home.

According to officers, the child’s body was found on Tuesday in a home on Tanglewood Drive Northeast, just north of Shore Acres.

A man was also found with injuries in the home.

While information is limited, police say that the death appears to be “suspicious.”
