The suspect was previously arrested in 2020 by the victim and sent 120 Facebook Messages

A Florida man was arrested for cyberstalking a Pinellas Park Police Officer after sending them 120 Facebook messages within two hours.

John Jackson, 39, was previously arrested by the same officer in 2020 for multiple charges. Four years later, he started sending messages threatening to kill the victim, according to the affidavit.

The victim, who is the police officer, was granted an injunction for protection against Jackson, which expired on Jan. 6 of this year.

On Jan. 23, Jackson sent approximately 120 Facebook messages in two hours. He blamed the victim for not being able to join the CIA or the United States Army due to the arrest and convictions in 2020.

Jackson told the victim through Facebook messages that he did not care if he went back to jail for contacting the victim again.Â
