Thursday begins with temperatures in the 20s and 30s as nearly all of Central Florida is under a cold weather advisory.
The advisory is expected to last until 9 a.m., according to NWS Melbourne.
In addition to the cold advisory, there’s a freeze warning for nearly all Central Florida counties, with a frost advisory for Coastal Volusia, Inland Brevard and Indian River.
Temperatures are considerably warmer in the afternoon, hovering about the mid-60s for Metro Orlando and the high 60s further south in Central Florida.
As cold weather continues to impact the mornings, much colder conditions are forecast for the weekend, according to NWS Melbourne.
An arctic airmass is expected to bring widespread damaging freezes and dangerously low wind chills across east Central Florida on both Feb. 1-2 mornings.
