January 30, 2026 – National public affairs and lobbying firm Shumaker Advisors has added former St. Petersburg City Councilmember Ed Montanari to its local team. Montanari, as a principal in the St. Petersburg office, will help strengthen the firm’s presence and connections in the city. He has 20 years of municipal public service experience and served on the council from 2016 through 2024. Sean Schrader, previously a district office manager for former U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist, will serve as director of operations for the firm’s Tampa location.
