After five years with the Florida State Seminoles, D’Mitri Emmanuel is leaving to become an offensive line analyst for the Kansas State Wildcats, according to Chris Hummer of CBS Sports.
Emmanuel joined the Seminoles ahead of the 2022 season, starting all 12 games at guard and making the All-ACC Third Team. He then started all 14 games in 2023, making the All-ACC First Team and playing a key role in FSU’s offensive success. FSU went 23-4 in games he started, and he allowed just 20 pressures and 4.0 sacks in 799 pass-blocking snaps as a Seminole.
He then joined Florida State’s coaching staff for the 2024 season, helping the offensive line as a graduate assistant. He then swapped to the defensive line for the 2025 season and was set to switch back to the offensive line for the 2025 before leaving to join Kansas State.
The Wildcats are entering a new era after hiring former quarterback Collin Klein as their new head coach. They went 6-6 last season with Chris Klieman retiring at the end of the year, allowing Klein to step in.
