A man accused of attacking a woman who was in her car in Miami was arrested on Sunday, authorities said.

Milutin Siriski, 46, was charged with burglary with assault or attempted battery.

According to authorities, the woman told officers that she was sitting inside her car that was parked along the sidewalk when Siriski walked past her car.

An arrest report said that the victim had her window down and asked Siriski if he had a problem because he was staring at the victim as he walked by the car.

Siriski, the report said, then walked back toward the car and punched the victim through the open window. The victim said that after she was hit, he opened the driver’s side door, kicked her in the stomach and pulled her by the hair while she was still sitting inside the car.

During the assault, a witness saw what was happening, pulled Siriski away from the victim, and held him down until officers arrived.

When the witness was interviewed by officers, they corroborated what the victim said happened.

Siriski was then arrested, and he was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
