Detectives from the Pinellas County Use of Deadly Force Investigative Task Force are on scene in Clearwater after a deputy-involved shooting involving the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office that left a woman hospitalized. 

The call came in right before 2 am Tuesday, and details are very limited. The suspect, an adult woman, was flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital by medical helicopter.
