PCSO said the suspect, a woman, was flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital by a medical helicopter.

CLEARWATER, Fla. — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is on scene of a shooting involving one of its deputies that left the suspect injured.

Officials said this happened before 2 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Capri Drive in Clearwater.

Members of the Pinellas County Use of Deadly Force Investigative Task Force arrived and said the suspect, a woman, was airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital by a medical helicopter.
