February 3, 2026 – Starting Friday (Feb. 6), Florida’s driver license exams will have to be taken in English, and without an interpreter. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles said in a news release that all driver’s license knowledge and skills examinations will be given exclusively in English – all classifications including oral exams.
