The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting in Tampa.
On February 2, 2026, HCSO’s 911 Dispatch Center received a call at 6:32 a.m. in regards to a shooting on North Nebraska Avenue and 129th Avenue.
When deputies arrived, they located an adult male with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Detectives believe this is an isolated incident.
