The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) held its annual fundraiser, Wild About CROW, on Jan. 10 at The Forest Country Club in Fort Myers. It featured live and silent auctions, dinner with an open bar, encounters with CROW’s animal ambassadors, activities with prizes, and the chance to learn about the patients that it cares for. CROW reported that thanks to the generosity of sponsors, attendees, auction donors and community supporters, it surpassed its goal — raising over $300,000 to rebuild its North American River Otter outdoor rehabilitation enclosure. It was the final wildlife enclosure still in need of repair after Hurricane Ian. CROW extended its heartfelt thanks to Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands for serving as the presenting title sponsor.
