An assistant coach at a private Christian school in Pompano Beach was arrested Monday after two girls alleged that he inappropriately touched them, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

Ronison Exavier, 24, of Coral Springs, was booked into the Paul Rein Detention Facility on three counts of an authority figure engaging in or soliciting sexual conduct, two counts of touch or strike battery and two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation or conduct, jail records show.

The family of one girl contacted police Monday after they learned that asked her into his office at Highlands Christian Academy on Oct. 15 and touched her, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Tuesday. As they investigated, detectives found a second person who said Exavier had similarly touched her twice, once last year and again this past July.

One of the girls was between 12 and 16 years old, according to one of the charges Exavier faces.

Special Victims Unit detectives arrested Exavier at his home in Coral Springs. The Sheriff’s Office did not provide further information about its investigation.

Highlands Christian Academy representatives did not respond to an email seeking comment after business hours Tuesday.

There may be other victims, given Exavier’s involvement with students at the school, BSO said.
