ALBANY, N.Y. — The University of Albany welcomed Charlize Joseph of Cape Coral for the start of the Fall 2025 semester. Joseph, who is majoring in physics, is among some 5,482 new Great Danes to enroll this semester.
More than 2,801 first-year students, from 35,664 applicants, are joining University of Albany’s Class of 2029, with 358 students selected to be part of the university’s Honors College, and 250 students enrolled as Presidential Scholars.

Lowe named to Saint Mary’s College Dean’s List
NOTRE DAME, Indiana — Challen Lowe of Cape Coral has been named to the Saint Mary’s College Dean’s List for the Fall 2025 semester.
To earn this academic honor at Saint Mary’s, a student must achieve a grade point average of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale, have a minimum of 12 graded credit hours, no incompletes, and no grades lower than a C.

Sanz named to Dean’s List at Bucknell University
LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition.
Among the students recognized was Ceraynny Sanz of Cape Coral who is majoring in education.
