Over 200 cats and dogs are available for adoption through Broward County Animal Care, with a range of breeds and personalities to fit any loving home.

Broward County Animal Care is hosting a weeklong “Plenty of Pets” adoption event to help residents find a new cuddle buddy in time for Valentine’s Day weekend.
From Monday, Feb. 9, through Sunday, Feb. 15, all adopters at the shelter’s Fort Lauderdale location (2400 SW 42nd St.) will be entered into a raffle to win one of three themed gift baskets.
Pets headed to their new homes from Feb. 13-15 will also receive a special gift bag.
And, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, Broward County Animal Care will host a special adoption event with games and activities for all ages. The shelter will remain open for adoptions until 6 p.m.
