New service between the airport and Atlantic City, New Jersey, begins on Friday.

Meanwhile, the airline will start offering flights to and from another New Jersey city, Trenton, on Feb. 20, and early next month, service to Huntsville, Alabama will launch on March 5.

This brings the airport’s number of destinations to 63.

Allegiant has operated out of the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport for 20 years.

The budget-friendly airline is known for connecting small and mid-size cities to popular destinations, according to the news release.

“Allegiant has been a great partner in growing leisure air service in the Tampa Bay market,” interim airport director Mark Sprague said. “Our award-winning beaches and lifestyle have proven to make St. Pete-Clearwater a top destination. We welcome New Jersey and Alabama visitors to non-stop fun and relaxation!”
