Allegiant’s ROC to Ft. Lauderdale flight starts today

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Allegiant Airlines’ new flight from Rochester to Fort Lauderdale, FL. begins today!

The new route was announced in November among Allegiant’s 30 new flights across the country. Travelers will now be able to book a flight from the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport to Fort Lauderdale.

Allegiant also announced last summer that it would be opening a new route between Rochester and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. That flight starts tomorrow.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new flight will begin at 4:30 p.m.
