Clearwater waterfront motel properties for sale
Two Clearwater waterfront properties, both with motel buildings spanning across multiple parcels of land, have entered the market for $7.9 million each.
629-637 Bay Esplanade is a 21-unit multi-building property spread over four-parcels. Included are two 0.16-acre lots, one with a 2,778-square-foot one-story structure built in 1957 and the other with a 1,776-square-foot one-story structure built in 1956; one 0.33-acre lot with two one-story structures totaling 4,896 square feet, built in 1957 and 1968; and one 0.29-acre parcel of submerged land.
The property features 198 feet of waterfrontage and 25 off-street parking space. It can be redeveloped for 14 condominiums, 36 hotel rooms or kept as a motel. The seller purchased the four parcels, currently under the registered name Sea Side on Esplanade, LLC, in 2012 for $1.39 million.
50 Royal Way is also a 21-unit motel spread across three parcels, including one 0.23-acre lot with a 7,724-square-foot two-story structure built in 1958, one 0.12-acre lot with a 2,400-square-foot two-story structure built in 1957, and one 0.12-acre lot with a 1,696-square-foot one-story structure built in 1952.
The property includes 25 off-street parking spaces, a pool, two docks and 107 feet of waterfrontage. This property can be kept as a motel or also redeveloped for 14 condominiums or 36 hotel rooms. The seller, currently under the registered name Surf & Sand FL, LLC, purchased the three parcels in 2012 for $1.35 million.

Largo Feed and Animal Supply property sells
Property occupied by Largo Feed and Animal Supply, at 206 W. Bay Drive, Largo, sold Feb. 10 for $1.08 million – $125,000 less than the list price of $1.2 million last November.
Built in 1926, the two-story structure, with 9,386 square feet on the ground level and 2,620 square feet of office space upstairs, is situated on a 0.45-acre parcel of land.
In the rear of the property is a private parking lot and a loading dock that is convenient for deliveries, operations and customer access. Street parking in front is also available.
The feed and supply store was leasing the building from the owner and founder of the business, who purchased the property in 1992 for $239,100.
The purchaser, Sagamore Real Estate, is a Clearwater real estate investment firm owned by Sagamore Holdings. The seller was represented by Charles Rutenberg Realty.

A five-unit apartment building with an address at 1121 Beach Drive N.E., in the Old Northeast neighborhood of St. Petersburg, has listed for $1.5 million.
The two-story, 4,940 gross square-foot multi-family structure was built in 1953 and is situated on a non-flood zone corner quarter-acre lot one block from North Shore Park and Tampa Bay.

The sale of a four-building industrial warehouse property owned and occupied by Americas Vending Depot at 13750 49th Street N., Clearwater closed Feb. 6 for $2.5 million. The listing was first introduced in December, 2024.
The four structures, built in 1967, 1974, 1987 and 1990, are situated on a 0.91-acre plot of land. Together they comprise 16,247 gross square feet, including 14,650 square feet of warehouse space, 850 square feet of office space and a 747-square-foot loading area. Buildings range in size from 2,500 to 6,996 gross square feet.
Highlights include two exterior roll-up doors, a loading dock with a dock-level door, two interior roll-up doors, a sliding door, security camera coverage throughout the entire property and an income-producing large billboard.
Tim Nowak, CEO of Americas Vending Depot, purchased the property in 2017 for $600,000. Clearwater’s Joe Pinkert, founder of Apex Plumbing, made the purchase under the registered name Yoga Joe 1945, LLC.
