TAMPA — Humorist David Sedaris will take the stage on Thursday, Oct. 30, 7:30 p.m., in Ferguson Hall at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, 1010 N. W.C. MacInnes Place, Tampa.

Sedaris will be presenting readings from his first children’s book, “Pretty Ugly.” He’ll likely draw from his most recent book of fiction, “Happy-Go-Lucky” as well as new, unpublished work. Sedaris has been a frequent contributor to NPR and The New Yorker, and a favorite of Straz audiences as well. Book signings will precede and follow the reading. Books will be available for sale at the event, courtesy of Oxford Exchange.
