Man shot in face during argument in Riverview, deputies say

A Monday morning argument in Riverview ended with a man being shot in the face and foot, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

RIVERVIEW, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says an early morning argument led to a man being shot in the face and foot.

Deputies received a call at 4:02 a.m. Monday about a shooting on Wine Press Avenue off of Green Harvest Drive in Riverview.

When deputies arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds to his face and foot.

Paramedics took him to the hospital. His current condition has not been released.

HCSO investigators say the shooting stemmed from an argument between the victim and the suspect.

At this time, no one is in custody.

The investigation remains active.
