The Hobe Sound Nature Center will welcome the community for its annual Creepy Creature Feature Halloween event, a free, family-friendly Halloween celebration that honors the area’s wild habitats and wildlife. The event will take place at The Pine School in Hobe Sound October 24, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The event promises an evening full of activities for all ages, including:

Meet-and-greets with Hobe Sound Nature Center’s animal ambassadorsBites and treats from Dune Dog Cafe and Kona Ice food trucksGlitter tattoos and face painting by Facepaintings by JoanneFestive Halloween portraits by local artist Hope ReeseClassic games and spooky craftsA nocturnal animal plushy scavenger hunt with prizesAn up-close visit with a Martin County fire truck and team of dedicated firefighters

The event is open to the public and free to attend, but donations are appreciated to support the nature center’s education and conservation programs. Costumes are encouraged, and all activities are family-friendly.
