Tampa police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Sunday night.
Officers responded to a home on West Spruce Street near North Gomez Avenue to a report of someone who had been shot.
When they arrived, they found a man in his mid-30s with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say they believe an argument started between a group of people who knew each other before the shooting took place.
Officials also recovered a firearm at the home.
TPD is currently working to learn more about what led up to the shooting, but believes this was an isolated incident.
