Looking to take your weekend plans to new heights? Literally…. For just two days, the Miami Hot Air Balloon Festival (part of Balloon Shows USA) will transform Tamiami Park into the ultimate hub of family fun, complete with illuminated balloons and choreographed lasers!
Whether you’re looking for the ultimate date night or a core memory for the kids, the main attraction isn’t all about seeing the balloons float by. As the night falls, watch in awe as the balloons are lit up by laser lights, all synchronized to lively music. The show begins at 9 p.m. as the crowd joins in unison for a countdown.

The festival is also packed with ground-level excitement for the entire family, including live DJs, local food vendors, craft and retail booths, as well as a designated Kids Zone with games to keep the little ones entertained. Just make sure to bring along blankets and chairs to set up your perfect viewing spot!

Of course, what kind of balloon fiesta would it be without the chance to go up? You’ll have the opportunity to hop in a hot air balloon yourself for stunning bird’s-eye views, though tickets for rides are sold separately from general admission.
