FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A wall of silence from injured survivors has left detectives asking for public assistance in the wake of a shooting at the Elks Lodge that killed a 34-year-old.
Police have identified the victim of Sunday’s overnight deadly shooting at the Elks Lodge in Fort Pierce.
According to the Fort Pierce Police Department, three gunshot victims were hospitalized, with one victim, 34-year-old Anbut Brutus, succumbing to his injuries in the hospital.

Investigators say they found no indication that there was an altercation before the shooting.
Evidence collected indicated that two firearms were involved, and one of the handguns was recovered.
The investigation is active, and deputies have emphasized that both the injurred victims are not cooperating, meaning help from the public is critical.
