Halloween festivities, Saturday Brunch and weekly waterfront happenings launch in Cape Coral

Slipaway Food Truck Park & Marina is making a splash this fall with a mix of specialty events and ongoing happenings at its waterfront destination in Cape Coral. Highlights include Halloween-themed festivities, the debut of Saturday Brunch, and weekly recurring events such as live music, Yoga on the Water, dog-friendly activities and football tailgate parties.

Slipaway’s spook-tacular season kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. with a Halloween Night Market. This family- and dog-friendly event features boutiques, dog-focused vendors, candy “truck-or-treating” for children, dog-friendly food truck menu items, and costume contests geared for both kids and their furry friends.

The thrills continue on Friday, Oct. 31 with Friday Fright Night from 4 to 11 p.m. Guests are encouraged to slip into spooky costumes and fright the night away with a costume contest for adults, live music by Soapy Tuna at 5:30 p.m., and spirited Halloween cocktails, available throughout October. The costume contest will award prizes for Best Dressed Individual, Couple and Group.

As the Halloween season concludes, Slipaway will launch something new: a Saturday Brunch beginning Saturday, Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to noon. Guests can enjoy tasty brunch offerings from select food trucks, and bottomless mimosas are available for $20 per person. Saturday Brunch, including a selection of signature Bloody Marys, will continue weekly through the fall season, offering a new way to enjoy mornings by the water.

In addition to its specialty events, Slipaway is now hosting a series of ongoing activities that can be enjoyed throughout the week:

Live Music (daily): Slipaway offers live performances every day starting at midday. Notable acts this fall include Rock Republic at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 28 and Nov. 25, as well as Deb & The Dynamics at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 7. Wrap up the weekend with Reggae Sundays, featuring good vibes and live performances every Sunday at noon.

Industry Monday (every Monday): Hospitality and music industry professionals can unwind with a night dedicated to the service industry. Show proof of industry employment to enjoy $5 elevated well drinks and shots featuring New Amsterdam gin and vodka, Bacardi rum, Lunazel tequila, Four Roses bourbon, plus $5 select beers.

Wags on the Water: Dogs Day Out (every Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.): Well-behaved four-legged friends can enjoy a waterside day at Slipaway, too. A rotating selection of pup-specific vendors will be onsite selling treats, toys and other accessories from 4 to 8 p.m. The first 50 pups will get a complimentary dog treat provided by Bailey’s Beer Biscuits.

Yoga on the Water (every Saturday, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.): Kick off the weekend with a refreshing yoga session by the water. Classes are $20 and include a free drink. Guests are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and an empty water bottle to fill with cold water. Sign up is required at The Helm bar upon arrival.

NFL & College Football Tailgate Parties (Thursdays through Mondays): Football fans can catch all the college and NFL action at Slipaway. Every game can be enjoyed from 12 large TVs around The Helm with extended bar hours until 11 p.m. and select food trucks serving until 10 p.m.
