Zoe Cavenaugh, East Duplin: The senior had eight digs, six kills and three aces.

Bennett Holley, East Duplin: The freshman had five aces, three digs, three kills and three assists.

Payton Hislop, Swansboro: The junior had 31 assists, 13 digs and two aces in a 25-19, 25-20, 21-25, 25-13 second-round win over Southern Alamance.

Reese Hislop, Swansboro: The sophomore had 10 kills, five digs, two assists and two blocks.

Savannah Navarro, Swansboro: The junior had 17 digs, 16 kills, three blocks and one ace.

Devinity Taylor, Swansboro: The junior had eight digs and six kills.

Monday, Oct. 20

Landry Clifton, Croatan: The senior placed tied for sixth overall at 89 to help the Cougars finish second as a team in the NCHSAA 5-A East Regional tournament at Keith Hills Country Club in Buies Creek.

Chloe Perez, Croatan: The senior was tied for ninth at 92 and will help her team in the state 5-A championships at Stonebride Golf Club in Monroe on Oct. 27.

Daytona Baysden, Jacksonville: The freshman finished tied for seventh overall at 85 in the NCHSAA 6-A East Regional tournament at Keith Hills Country Club in Buies Creek. She earned a spot in the state 6-A tournament at Stonebride Golf Club in Monroe on Oct. 27.

Yoskar Canales, East Duplin: The senior had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 victory over Trask.

Brayan Gonzalez, East Duplin: The senior scored a goal.

Gerardo Lopez, East Duplin: The senior added a goal.

Sophia Tinoco, Croatan: The senior won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 singles and 8-6 at No. 1 doubles in a 6-3 third-round team defeat to Seaforth.

Jenna Batchelor, East Duplin: The senior won 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5 singles in a 6-2 third-round playoff team win over First Flight.

Tabor Holley, East Duplin: The junior won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and 8-5 at No. 3 doubles.

Hailey Maready, East Duplin: The senior won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 singles and at No. 3 doubles.
