ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A woman died Wednesday after crashing her car into a tree in the parking lot of the CVS at 3501 54th Ave. S., St. Pete police said in a news release.
The woman, whose name hasn’t been released, accelerated her car for an unknown reason before hitting the tree, police said.
She was brought to Orlando Bayfront Hospital, where she later died.
No other cars were involved in the crash and no one else was injured.
The crash is under investigation.
