POLICE SAY THAT’S KEMPTON SITTING IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT OF A STOLEN CAR WAITING TO SPEED AWAY. THAT BREAK IN HAPPENED ALONG NORTHEAST SECOND PLACE. BUT THE TEEN’S PLANS TOOK A TURN AND NORTH NICHOLAS HIGH WHERE POLICE ARRESTED KEMPTON GULF COAST NEWS REPORTER JACKI GUNTHER IS LIVE BREAKING DOWN. POLICE SAY HE STOLE 3 GUNS FROM SEVERAL CARS. THEY SAY KEMPTON WAS HIS GETAWAY DRIVER PARKED ON THE STREET IN A STOLEN CAR. Cape Coral police arrest second teen in connection with car burglary spree

Cape Coral Police arrested 18-year-old Jaydin Kempton at North Nicholas High School on Monday for his alleged involvement in a series of car break-ins on NE 2nd Place in Cape Coral back in June.Security footage from neighbors helped police identify Kempton and 17-year-old Darryle Ford, who we reported on back in August, in the break-ins.Ford was arrested for multiple other car break-ins and stealing 3 guns. Kempton was charged with the following:Burglary of a ConveyanceCriminal Mischief $200-$1,000, First-degree MisdemeanorPetit Theft under $750, First-degree MisdemeanorDealing in Stolen Property, Second-degree FelonyNeighbors expressed their concerns about the safety of the area. Anthony Verde, who lives on NE 2nd Place, said, “If anybody was to creep on this property, they would definitely be leaving in a body bag. Cape Coral Police arrested 18-year-old Jaydin Kempton at North Nicholas High School on Monday for his alleged involvement in a series of car break-ins on NE 2nd Place in Cape Coral back in June.
Security footage from neighbors helped police identify Kempton and 17-year-old Darryle Ford, who we reported on back in August, in the break-ins.
Ford was arrested for multiple other car break-ins and stealing 3 guns.
Kempton was charged with the following:
Burglary of a ConveyanceCriminal Mischief $200-$1,000, First-degree MisdemeanorPetit Theft under $750, First-degree MisdemeanorDealing in Stolen Property, Second-degree Felony
Neighbors expressed their concerns about the safety of the area.
