Adam Stephenson, 28, of Morgantown, Ind., pleaded not guilty after he was arrested for disorderly intoxication and attempted burglary of a structure, according to Orange Circuit Court records.
His attorney did not respond to a request for comment.

Just before 11 p.m., Feb. 2, a drunk Stephenson was trying to break into the House of Blues, the Orange County Sheriff’s arrest report said.

“Mr. Stephenson was observed attempting to enter codes into a locked door several times. When that was not successful, he then began beating on the door and attempted to kick the door open several times,” the arrest report said. “He was unsuccessful at making entry and went to the second door and began hitting and kicking that door to also attempt to make entry, but again was unsuccessful.”

The doors were clearly marked off from the public and were located behind a chain.

One door went to the House of Blues offices, while the second door led into the concert venue.
Stephenson was confronted, and then he ran off, heading to the M&M’s Store next, the arrest report said.

“Once inside, he knocked several items off the shelf and ran out of the store,” the arrest report said.
He also took high-top metal bar stools to block the Disney Security and House of Blues employees chasing him, the sheriff’s report also appeared to say.
“Mr. Stephenson was intoxicated, and his behavior caused a public disturbance within Disney Springs. His actions also endangered the safety of others,” the report said.

Stephenson later tried to get a public defender to represent him after he was arrested and taken to Orange County Jail. But his request for indigent defense was denied because he reported getting paid $4,000 bi-weekly.

Stephenson’s arrest comes as several tourists behave badly at Disney Springs. Over the years, WDWNT has reported on people getting drunk, becoming violent, and even taking off their clothes at Disney Springs.
