Breeze Airways is expanding its footprint at John Glenn International, adding nonstop service to Savannah and Tampa this summer.

The low-cost carrier announced Tuesday that flights to Savannah, Georgia, will begin July 1 with one-way fares starting at $59. Service to Tampa, Florida, follows on July 3 with fares from $79.

Breeze is also ramping up its existing service to Portland, Maine, increasing frequency to four times weekly starting July 1.

“Savannah and Tampa are two great additions to our network out of Columbus,” said David Neeleman, Breeze Airways founder and CEO.

The new routes will operate on the following schedule:

Savannah: Wednesdays and Saturdays starting July 1.Tampa: Mondays and Fridays starting July 3.Portland: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting July 1.

Daren A. Griffin, President and CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, said the expansion delivers the “variety and value” Central Ohio passengers deserve.

The Utah-based airline, which launched five years ago, utilizes a fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The carrier markets itself on a “no-fee” model for changes or cancellations.

Tickets for the new routes are available for booking effective immediately.
