Two found dead as police probe mysterious deaths at Harbour Isle condo complex

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — The deaths of two people are under investigation on Tuesday at the Harbour Isle at Hutchinson Island condominium complex.

The Fort Pierce Police Department said its actively investigating the scene. Investigators responded Tuesday to the gated community, located on the east side of Hutchinson Island, after receiving reports that prompted officers to secure the area and begin an active investigation. Detectives have not yet released details about the individuals involved, the cause of death, or whether any foul play is suspected.

A designated media staging area was established at 805 Harbour Isle Drive East as the investigation continues. Officers remain on scene, and portions of the complex are restricted while crime scene technicians process evidence.

The department has not provided a timeline for when additional information will be released but said updates will be shared as they become available.
