The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg roars back into downtown St. Pete from Friday to Sunday, Feb. 27 through March 1. INDYCAR’s racing festival transforms the waterfront into a three-day spectacle packed with races, food stands, and fun for everyone.

FOX will broadcast Sunday’s 100-lap NTT INDYCAR SERIES Race. Races kick off each day. Action starts at 8 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m.

According to That’s So Tampa, the festival sprawls across a massive chunk of downtown St. Petersburg. Food stands and drink booths surround the track, plus hands-on experiences where fans can get close to cars and meet drivers. Games scatter throughout the grounds. Practice runs and more than six competitive races keep engines roaring all day long.

Tickets start at $30 and climb to $165. Friday brings lower prices and thinner crowds compared to Sunday, when attendance peaks. Fans can buy single-day passes or grab multi-day tickets online.

Getting there? Try Uber, Lyft, or hop on Pinellas County’s SunRunner bus. The SunRunner drops passengers close to the track, with pickup spots near parking areas. A Group Pass runs $3 and covers up to four riders when you punch in promo code CREW through March 2.

One SunRunner stop sits on 1st Avenue North right in front of Tropicana Field, where paid parking lots await. Want free parking? Head to the grass lot at 3 Daughters Brewing — just a two-minute stroll from the 1st Avenue North stop.

The Horse Soldier Bourbon floating dock hugs the track and gives spectators views from three angles, all wrapped by water. No need to snag bleacher seats. Fences run along the entire circuit, putting fans mere yards from screaming race cars as drivers blast past.
