New nonstop flight to South Florida coming to Avoca

(WBRE/WYOU)— Speaking of travel, pack your bags! Getting to South Florida is about to get a lot easier for local travelers.

Breeze Airways announced a new nonstop flight from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to Fort Lauderdale.

Flights begin July 1, flying Wednesdays and Saturdays, with fares starting at $79 one-way.
