When does Tampa turn the river green?
River O’Green 2026 will take place at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 14.
The Hillsborough River will turn a dazzling shade of kelly green using non-toxic, biodegradable coloring that meets EPA standards.
The event also includes a parade, live entertainment and food.
New this year is the Wee Lads Shamrock Shoppes, a local market made for kids, by kids.
River O’ Green entertainment lineup
The day kicks off with a performance by the Irish Color Guard before the river coloring.
Once the festival begins, expect non-stop entertainment on the main stage with everything from Irish dancers to a pet costume contest.
The parade begins at 2 p.m.
You can find the full lineup of entertainers and vendors on Tampa’s Downtown event site.
