A decade after the Pulse nightclub shooting forever changed the city, the Orlando Pride are paying tribute to the community’s enduring spirit with their latest jersey.

Unveiled on Thursday, the club’s new Unity kit will serve as the team’s secondary jersey for the 2026 and 2027 National Women’s Soccer League seasons.

Aesthetically, the kit has an unusual pattern of interlocking pastel ribbons. According to the club, the design was deliberately chosen to symbolize “the strength, togetherness and unbreakable spirit” of the Orlando community in the wake of the 2016 tragedy. The jersey also includes a jock tag depicting a dove carrying an olive branch, while the Pride’s familiar purple trims the collar, cuffs and player lettering.

Beyond its design, the kit carries a tangible community commitment. The Pride announced that $20,000 from jersey sales will be donated directly to The Center Orlando. Those funds are earmarked for the Orlando United Resiliency Services OURS program, which continues to provide vital support, advocacy, and education for the local LGBTQ+ community.

“Orlando’s strength has always come from its people, and the Unity Kit reflects the love, resilience and courage that define this city,” said Kaia Hyde, VP of Community Impact & DEI for Orlando Pride and Orlando City SC and Executive Director of the Orlando Soccer Foundation in a statement.

“In the days after the Pulse tragedy, our community adopted a simple but powerful message: ‘keep dancing.’ It became a reminder that even in the face of unimaginable loss, Orlando would choose optimism, unity and love. This jersey honors that spirit, and we’re proud that its launch will directly support The Center Orlando and the vital work they do for our community.”

On the business side, Orlando Health maintains its foundational role as the front-of-jersey sponsor, a partnership dating back to the Pride’s inaugural 2016 season. Publix and Heart of Florida United Way also return as the lower-back and sleeve sponsors, respectively.

Fans can purchase the Unity Kit online or at Thursday evening’s official launch party at The Final Whistle at Thornton Park Pub. The 6 p.m. event will feature a silent disco and appearances from Pride coach Seb Hines alongside players Julie Doyle, Oihane, and Hannah Anderson.

The Pride will officially kick off their regular season at Inter&Co Stadium on March 15 against Seattle Reign FC.
