“Casa Ronda,” a Spanish revival estate located at 7211 3rd Avenue S. in the Historic Old Pasadena neighborhood of St. Petersburg, has listed for $2.7 million.

Completed in 1925, the home was inspired by the Spanish and Moorish architecture of Ronda, Spain. It was built for and designed to the exact specifications of New York City attorney William G. Marvin when the development of Pasadena Estates was just getting started.

Situated on a 0.43-acre double corner lot among brick streets and mature landscaping, the two-story property features four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one half-bath across 3,390 square feet of living space.

The arched front entry of the main home leads to a living room anchored by a sloped mantel fireplace, a dining room flowing with natural light, a kitchen with a gas stove and stainless-steel appliances, a parlor situated in the center of the home and a garden room for indoor/outdoor seating, dining and entertaining.

Upstairs is the primary suite with a private balcony, a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom equipped with marble finishes, built-in storage and a separate water closet. Also on this level are two guest bedrooms, one with a private balcony and both connected by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

Additional interior highlights include nine-foot ceilings, original wood floors, arched doorways and hand-painted murals.

Detached from the main residence is “Casita Rondita,” a one-bedroom/one-bath guest suite with a seating area and a kitchenette. The gated property also features a heated salt-water pool, an outdoor shower, fountains, an enclosed circular gazebo and a detached 360-square-foot garage accessed from an alley.

The seller, represented by Bethsabe Bockman-Pederson with Smith & Associates Real Estate, purchased the property in 2018 for $725,000.
