PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — The Pinellas Park Police Department arrested a man on “Super Speeder” charges after spotting him driving 120 mph on U.S. 19, according to an arrest affidavit.Â
Andres Baron, 41, was traveling northbound on US-19 in Pinellas Park just after 1:30 a.m. Â Thursday, when police said they spotted him speeding excessively. Baron moved over, looking like he was going to pull over, but accelerated and took off from the authorities, the affidavit says.
Per the affidavit, the officer had to travel nearly 140 mph to catch up with Baron, who was arrested and charged with dangerous excessive speeding.
