We’ve all had neighborly disputes, but most of us come to a solution of some kind that doesn’t involve threats to the person’s life or pets.
Sheriff’s deputies in Putnam County arrived at a call because from a scared woman who was threatened.
Deputies say the woman was walking along a public path when she was confronted by 61-year-old Minor Catledge.
Catledge claimed that he would “eat her dog” if she trespassed again on the property he believed was his.
The woman immediately called the police, and when officers spoke with Catledge about the property and the path, they felt they resolved the whole situation. Until, about an hour after the cops left.
Catledge showed up outside the woman’s house with a knife and threatening her and her familly, saying that he was going to stab her for calling the cops on him.
After he was cuffed, Catledge made several statements to a deputy that when he gets out of jail, he’s going to return to beat the woman.
Here he is, 61-year-old Minor Catledge, who’s being held on a $5,000 bond in the Putnam County Jail.
