TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – One day before their big game at Doak Campbell Stadium, the Savannah Bananas and Texas Tailgaters hosted a meet and greet Friday night at Academy Sports and Outdoors.
A long line of fans wrapped the aisles, waiting to get an autograph or picture with the players.

Banana Ball kicked off its 2026 season in Tallahassee, with both teams saying they’re really enjoying their time in the capital city.
“I heard Momo’s pizza, the big pizza, I heard that’s the spot to go to,” Texas Tailgaters shortstop Jordan Hussein said.

“Florida is like a small version of Australia, where I’m from, so I’m loving it. I think it’s awesome, I’m excited to meet all the people from out here,” Texas Tailgaters pitcher Brett Allen said.
The three-day Banana Ball extravaganza wraps up Saturday night when the Savannah Bananas take on the Texas Tail-gaters inside Doak Campbell Stadium.
