A 65-year-old man from Orlando is dead after crashing into two parked vehicles on Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

At approximately 2:29 p.m., the man, who was driving a 2017 Toyota Rav4, was traveling northbound on Goldenrod Road north of Bryan Road in the outside lane, FHP said.

For an unknown reason, the vehicle ran off the roadway right and struck a sign and a fence, FHP said. The vehicle continued and collided with a 2022 Kia Stinger and a 2022 Ford F250 that were both parked in a parking lot. The vehicles were unoccupied.

The man was transported to Advent Health East Hospital and pronounced dead, FHP said.

This crash remains under investigation.
