GAINESVILLE, Fla. – For the second consecutive season, junior Paris Bice represents Florida on the Southeastern Conference Soccer Community Service Team. The league office announced the 16 representatives today for the league’s 21st annual SEC Community Service Team.
The SEC takes submissions based on the good deeds and volunteering that the student athletes do around the community while at their respective schools.
Bice’s Community Service:
The junior has volunteered more than 100 hours for community service events since the fall of 2023.
Since the start of 2025, Bice was a Gator Field Day counselor, helped at the Tim Tebow Foundation Night to Shine, visited patients at Gainesville’s VA hospital along with other community events. Last year, Bice was a regular at Gainesville’s Metcalfe Elementary School as part of the Gators Lunch Buddies Program to read with kindergarten students. Bice made several shoes and socks deliveries as part of the Gator Tracks program, which distributed more than 400 shoes/socks to Gainesville area youth in December of 2023 and 2024. She’s also participated in the Special Olympics Race for Inclusion event and worked with children at camps.
In the summer of 2024, Bice was among a dozen Gator student-athletes who traveled to Spain for a 10-day trip. That GatorsLead Global trip included service events in different sites across Spain.
