The Southwest Florida Ag Expo is in full swing this week in Fort Myers with a lineup packed with live entertainment, rides, food, and livestock events.
The event, hosted at Mike Greenwell Regional Park in North Fort Myers, runs through Sunday, March 8.
More than 31,400 people attended the opening weekend from Feb. 26 to March 1, showcasing the event’s popularity. The Expo has different themed nights throughout the week, offering promotions and special events each day.
Tonight is Community Night, where attendees can gain free admission with three non-perishable food items or pay a $5 gate fee. Other days feature $2 deals on Tuesday, Senior Day discounts on Wednesday, and Hometown Heroes Day on Thursday with special rates for service personnel and school staff.
The Expo celebrates local youth involved in 4-H and FFA, with showmanship competitions and a market animal auction. Attendees can enjoy live music and various livestock events, including a Horse Costume Contest and Steer Grooming Show.
