LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Florida clinched a share of the SEC title after thrashing Arkansas 111-77 on Saturday. It tied Coach John Calipari’s worst loss of his career, next to a 2018 blowout against Duke. Calipari was with Kentucky at the time.
The Gators moved to 23-6 and 14-2 in SEC play and went unbeaten in February.
Former Razorback guard Boogie Fland, now at Florida, poured it on his former team. Fland was one of seven gators who scored double figures.
Billy Richmond III led the Hogs with 22 points. Standout freshman guard Darius Acuff Jr., who leads the SEC in points and assists, finished with 17 points and six assists.
Arkansas moves to 21-8 on the year and 11-5 in conference play.
