The Lee Board of County Commissioners awarded a $1.7 million contract to Hardesty & Hanover Construction Services LLC for construction engineering and inspection services on several disaster recovery projects.
The projects include repairs to roads and sidewalks on Stringfellow Road and in the Iona community, resurfacing on Burnt Store and Pine Island roads, bridge replacements on Hagie Drive in Harlem Heights and Constitution Circle in San Carlos Park, and countywide drainage repairs.
Funding for these projects comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery allocation.
This funding aims to address the disaster recovery needs of residents affected by hurricanes.
