Pop-up king Chad Mize has curated a one-night-only art show Thursday at Green Bench Brewing. The 6-9 p.m. event, Enjoy, will feature work from more than 50 local artists.

FloridaRAMA debuts a new exhibit with an opening reception Friday. Consisting of works in various media by 45 artists, ArtOfficial Intelligence: A Multidisciplinary Robot-Themed Show was curated by Zulu Painter, Aurailieus and Jason Bromley on behalf of the St. Pete Robot Exchange.

The reception is 6-10 p.m. Friday, and the exhibit will remain through April 25.

Works by four Pinellas County artists adorn Gates 7–11 at the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport now through June. Rise is curated and presented by Creative Pinellas at the airport gallery. Artists are photographer Lucy Westphal, woodcarver Scott Solary, clay artist Charles Morrison and poet Letisia Cruz.

“By placing local artists at the heart of a major transportation hub, we’re strengthening our creative economy, supporting working artists, and inviting visitors to engage with this community in a meaningful way from the moment they arrive,” Creative Pinellas CEO Margaret Murray said in a prepared statement.

Women’s History: Leading the Change debuts Friday at Brenda McMahon Gallery in Gulfport. Featuring the works of 40 woman artists, it begins with a 6-10 p.m. reception (live music by Zeta the Babe). The artists were asked to illustrate “what positive change looks like with women at the forefront.” March 12 brings a spoken word component to the exhibition, with poets Gemini Fox, Liz Prizley, Jyoti Porwal, Rob Fernandez, Jamie Dawson, Dante Hamilton and IAM performing from 6 to 9 p.m.

Friday brings the March edition of Gulfport’s First Friday Art Walk, and many local artists take advantage of this influx of visitors to introduce new artists and new exhibitions.

DRV Gallery brings the works of renowned Chine collé printmaker Suzanne Benton to Gulfport, as its March-April show. Friday’s opening reception (5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at DRV) will include Benton herself and live music from Jim Gilmour & Friends.

Florida CraftArt celebrates its 75th year with The Makers That Made Us March 11 through April 22. Curated by Michele Tuegel, Florida CraftArt’s first Executive Director, the exhibition draws from the organization’s permanent collection to reflect on the artists, ideas, and values that shaped Florida CraftArt from its founding to the present. There will be a reception March 14.

The Morean Center for Clay premieres Sunny Delights, a ceramics exhibition by Eric Doctors, with a reception March 14 (5-9 p.m.). “Doctors,” the gallery info decrees, “sculpts ideas across a multitude of disciplines including mathematics, philosophy, architecture, and storytelling.” The exhibition will remain through April 4.

At the Imagine Museum, Visions of the Future is billed as an “immersive sci-fi inspired showcase (that) explores speculative worlds, futuristic identities, and imagined realities through contemporary glass and mixed-media works, redefining how art envisions what lies ahead.” It’s in the rotating second floor gallery.

Participation is limited to 15 people for Caravaggio in a Different Light, March 14 at the Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg. It’s a black (ultraviolet) light tour of the exhibit In Caravaggio’s Light, with Chief Curator Stanton Thomas, a forensic look into the “inevitable scars and repairs of the centuries” – unseen to the naked eye – of the 400-year-old paintings in the exhibit. Beth Belaschky: Echos of the Luminous opens March 17 at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts in Tampa. A 2025 Arts Impact Fund grant recipient from Creative Pinellas, Belaschky utilizes holograms, excavations, lightboxes, cold wax and gold leaf works.
