Celebrating your birthday or other special event at Universal Orlando? Team members at select attractions have commemorative wristbands available!
Birthday & Celebration Wristbands
The birthday/celebration wristbands are something that have just debuted in the parks in the last several months. Though not every attraction has them, many of them do. We expect more to roll out in the coming months.
How do you get a birthday and/or celebration wristbands? Team members may hand one out if they see you wearing a birthday/celebration button or some other type of accessory that signifies it’s your birthday (or some other special event). Or, you can always ask for one!
Our reporter recently celebrated a birthday and went on a hunt to see which attractions had them available!
Universal Studios Florida WristbandsBourne Stuntacular
The Bourne Stuntacular has a gray birthday wristband with the attraction name, attraction logo, Universal wordmark, and white “It’s my birthday!” text.
Horror Make-Up Show
Grab a celebration wristband at Horror Make-Up Show. It’s black with “I’m celebrating!” text in yellow with a red border. The other side has “Horror Make-Up Show” text in red and yellow and white vampire teeth.
Men in Black: Alien Attack
Men in Black: Alien Attack also has a celebration wristband. It’s a glow-in-the-dark green with the attraction name and “I’m celebrating!” text in black. It also has white stars.
Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon
Race up to Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon for a purple birthday wristband. It has the attraction name and “It’s my birthday!” in white text along with the Universal wordmark.
Revenge of the Mummy
There is also a wristband for those celebrating their birthday at the Revenge of the Mummy attraction. It’s a dark gold color (to match the attraction’s exterior façade) with “It’s my birthday!” text and the name of the ride in black.
Transformers: The Ride-3D
Transformers: The Ride-3D has a light blue celebration wristband with the ride’s name and “I’m celebrating!” text in white.
The Simpsons Ride
The Simpsons Ride has two wristbands. One is blue with the ride wordmark, the Universal Studios logo, and “I’m celebrating” on it. The other has the ride wordmark, the Universal Studios logo, and “It’s my birthday!” on it.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
This navy wristband has The Wizarding World of Harry Potter wordmark on one side, and “I’m celebrating” on the other.
Islands of Adventure Wristbands
When we visited Islands of Adventure, we had a much harder time finding wristbands. In fact, it seems that none of the attractions have celebration/birthday wristbands available. This could be due to the fact that this is still a pretty new thing Universal is doing for guests.
The Incredible Hulk Coaster
The blue one pictured above is from The Incredible Hulk Coaster. It’s a birthday wristband with the wordmark, text, and park icons in white.
Storm Force Accelatron
We received a generic white wristband at Storm Force Accelatron. It has “It’s my birthday!” text in blue and yellow as well as stars and the Universal Orlando logo.
Dr. Doom’s Freefall, The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, and Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges
Dr. Doom’s Freefall, Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges, and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man have the yellow version of the birthday wristband. It has blue and white text.
We think Islands of Adventure attraction-specific wristbands will debut in the future, perhaps once every attraction at Universal Studios Florida has them. In the meantime, guests can still grab generic wristbands.
